FRP Plate Strengthening
This scheme specifies the examination and certification of personnel (installers and supervisors) who are required to apply and inspect unidirectional fibre composite plates to
strengthen existing concrete structures, and in new build. It includes an understanding of the extent of a strengthening project, comprises of: initial work, surface preparation,
mixing and application of adhesive, application of FRP plate and inspection during and after installation.
