Plant Inspection
Three levels are described in the document, but, as this is a relatively new scheme, only Levels 1 and 2 are available at present. A Level 1 Plant Inspector is able to perform straightforward, unsupervised inspections of plant. A Level 2 Plant Inspector has a wider scope of knowledge and inspection competence than a Level 1.

Level 2 Logbook
The Level 2 logbook is to be completed by all CSWIP Plant Inspector candidates applying for entry to the Level 2 course and examination. CSWIP assessors will use the logbook as a basis for assessment of a plant inspector's individual experience and competence. Candidates may also use it as a pre-Level 2 checklist of their own competence and experience.
