TWI Certification Ltd is pleased to announce that the CSWIP Offshore Visual Inspection scheme has been added to its UKAS Schedule, confirming the scheme is run in compliance with ISO/IEC 17024 and to provide candidates and employers with confidence that the scheme is third-party accredited and has been robustly audited.

The scheme is aimed at offshore inspection personnel, such as Rope Access / NDT Inspectors, who also conduct a wide range of visual inspection as part of their daily duties. As such the scheme supports competence management systems in line with UKAS RG0 Guidelines.

The scheme is becoming accepted as a mandatory requirement for offshore inspection personnel and gives candidates who hold a CSWIP welding inspection and/or NDE certification with several years' experience the next logical step on their career ladder.
