Renewal Procedures

You can apply to renew your CSWIP certificate six months prior to your certificate expiry date. In order to renew a CSWIP certificate, it is compulsory to provide at least 48 months of verified evidence (signed log sheets) of your work activities during the period covered by your CSWIP certificate and details of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).  
Please note that this is not applicable to Underwater Inspector 3.1U, 3.2U, ROV Inspector 3.3U
or Underwater Inspection Controller (3.4U)

Visual Welding Inspectors/Welding Inspectors/Senior Welding Inspectors
Non Destructive Testing and Plant Inspection personnel

3.1U, 3.2U, ROV 3.3U Divers/Underwater Inspection Controller 3.4U

Plastics Welders


The easiest way of providing this evidence is to regularly update your CSWIP logbook.
