Plant Inspection

Asset integrity management approaches are placing increasing demands on the accuracy and reliability of process plant inspections. Inspection demands, combined with the increasing complexity of thermal and pressure systems, and the need to satisfy more stringent safety and environmental legislation, make it essential that plant inspection personnel have effective training and sufficient practical experience before being deemed competent to perform statutory or non-statutory inspections on engineering plants.

A CSWIP Plant Inspector will add value to plant integrity management by being applicable to both ‘works’ and in-service inspection, for both statutory and non-statutory equipment. The CSWIP Plant Inspector certification consists of two levels of competence, which satisfy a wide range of applications and asset management approaches.
