Welding Supervision

The manufacture of safe, cost-effective welded products and structures is critically dependent on the control exercised in fabrication to ensure that welding and related operations are correctly and safely carried out. The supervision of welding is a key feature of welded product manufacture and welded fabrication and it is most important that those supervising welding operations have attained the level of competence necessary to supervise the work correctly.

Providing individuals with an internationally recognised mark of competence, the CSWIP Welding Supervisor certificate gives customers of welded products the confidence that essential welding related tasks are supervised by personnel with appropriate knowledge, skill and experience.

CSWIP Welding Supervisor certification provides employers a means of satisfying the requirements of ISO 3834 and EN 1090, which require welding coordination personnel to have appropriate competence to achieve the relevant level of quality control in welded production.
