A SCHEME GLOBALLY RECOGNISED BY INDUSTRY

Established for over 50 years the Certification Scheme for Personnel (CSWIP), is a world leader in personnel competence assurance certification. A comprehensive scheme providing for the assessment and certification of individuals seeking to demonstrate their knowledge and/or competence in a wide variety of industry demanded job roles.

CSWIP has increased its portfolio to provide certification for those seeking employment in critical disciplines, such as welding, joining, construction, operation or repair of high integrity structures, plant or machinery as well as materials integrity and inspection during manufacturing and in-service.

The CSWIP schemes are provided by TWI Certification Ltd; formed in 1993 to exemplify the independence and impartiality required to deliver certification in accordance with international standards.

UKAS-accredited to ISO/IEC 17024, the international standard for personnel certification, the CSWIP certificates provide employer confidence in compliance with current standards and regulations, and offer assurance to their customers that their staff are competent and can deliver the product quality and safety required.

Originally, CSWIP’s aim was to receive nationwide recognition and acceptance by industry, as a means of identifying and verifying an individual’s competence. Since awarding its first 24 certificates in 1969, CSWIP has built upon its principles of competence, impartiality, quality and reliability to become recognised globally as one of the highest standards in personnel certification, with over 40,000 certificate holders and more than 60,000 certificates issued worldwide.
