COVID-19 Update

Please be advised that our CSWIP and BGAS-CSWIP COVID-19 policy has been updated. Any certificate holder who is due to sit their recertification examination between 30 September 2021 and 31 December 2021 can apply for a six-month extension to their certificates validity while they await an exam at their local centre. We remind all certification holders that they can apply and sit their recertification examination up to six months prior to the expiry date of their certificates validity. We strongly encourage anyone in this situation to make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible, to ensure they are not left without a valid certificate.

Please note that this is the last update to the COVID-19 policy and the policy will be fully closed on 31 December 2021. No extension requests beyond 31 December 2021 will be given. 

Certificate holders are reminded that they agreed to abide by CSWIP’s Code of Conduct when gaining their certificate; and TWI Certification Ltd (TWI CL) has a zero tolerance policy for those who speak or act in an inappropriate manner towards TWI CL staff. Breaches to this Code of Conduct will be referred to the relevant Management Committee and will be subjected to a ban from holding a CSWIP or BGAS-CSWIP certificate.

Please note, that normal certification rules and procedures apply, upon successful completion of your exam, with the issuing of your certificate. Your new certificate expiry dates will follow the same structure as in previous years. For example, for CSWIP Underwater Inspectors 3.1U, 3.2U, CSWIP ROV Inspectors 3.3U and CSWIP Underwater Controllers 3.4U your new expiry date will be five years from the expiry date of your original certificate not from the end date of your extension or from the date of your examination. For all other certificates, the expiry dates will comply with the rules of the respective scheme.
