Update (30th July 2026)
TWI Certification Ltd (TWI Cert) has submitted its documentation to UKAS in relation to the temporary suspension of our ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation. We await UKAS's review and hope this will be resolved as soon as possible, with our priority being to restore our ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation and resume issuing certificates at the earliest opportunity. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We will continue to keep you informed of our progress.
Please be assured that TWI Training and Examination Services continue to deliver training and exams. Formal Results Notices will continue to be issued to candidates who successfully complete their examinations. However, there could be a delay in issuing the certificate, depending on when the UKAS suspension is lifted.

TWI Certification Ltd’s (TWI Cert) accreditation for ISO / IEC 17024 has been temporarily suspended by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and as a result TWI Cert is currently unable to issue UKAS accredited certificates while the suspension remains in place.
We appreciate this may cause concern and we want to reassure you that we are working closely with UKAS to address the verification matters that led to the suspension. As a result, any decisions regarding certification will be placed on hold until the suspension has been lifted. Our priority is to restore our accreditation as quickly as possible to enable us to continue issuing UKAS accredited Certificates.
Existing CSWIP certifications remain valid in accordance with their Scheme’s validity period.

What has happened?

What does this mean for my certification?
Existing CSWIP certifications remain valid in accordance with their schemes validity period.
When will I receive my certificates?
Certificates can only be issued once the suspension has been lifted, meaning there will be a delay. Please know that we are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible in order to have a minimal impact on our candidates.
I'm already booked on a training course. Should I cancel it?
The temporary UKAS suspension is not related to training, and TWI will continue to book and deliver training courses and examinations during this period. We anticipate the delay to be limited and have a minimal affect on the issuing of certificates to candidates who successfully meet the Certification Scheme requirements post examination.
